I live in Germany, but I got it (from eXpansys). It's a really good phone. Blazing fast too, no comparison to my G1. :)

@Martijn: Red and Black will be released next year. Only white now...

The main questions for those who want to buy this phone;
- Where is the black and red version?
- How does the battery perform?

Hopefully those questions will be answered soon :-)

Clove had been told by Acer that they would be getting the 850/1900/2100 version of this phone for HSDPA frequencies. However once the stock arrived, they quickly updated their site to display 900/1900/2100 as that is what they had been sent.

Very sad :(

I want a snapdragon android phone on 850MHz. Why are none of the good phones on 850Mhz!!!!

@Gabe,

You should look at your frequencies again... David is right. AT&T uses 850 and 1900.

It will not work on the US 3G bands. Those would be 1700/2100 (not the same as euro 2100) for T-Mobile and 850/1800 Mhz for Att. It will work on the GSM bands though.

@JLW
if it really is tri band on the HSPDA frequencies then it will work on both tmo and at&t networks. granted at&t uses 1900 primarily and 850 in lots of places for better coverage ... so you could expect the same performance on at&t 3g as they had a couple years ago before they started the 850 overlay. short version, though, yes it'll work on all gsm north american 3g providers.

@TNF
Probably due to development freeze before release. (And some companies have a long time between "done in development" and "released") Since they've said 2.0 will be available shortly after launch.

So what does everyone think - buy this or wait for the Bravo/Passion? (potentially April!)

And for the love of god either update or just remove the phones section!

@esperanto
they should eliminate it because it's clear they aren't bright or dedicated enough to make it work. just go to phonescoop or mobiledia or something...
