The same universal powers that conduct the laws of electricity and impose the laws of gravity also govern the rules of interwebzity. One of those rules is that you must like xkcd – a short stick figure comic that has become ridiculously popular. It’s about to become a whole lot more popular in the world of Android – the latest xkcd comic pits the iPhone vs. Android as the character is trying to choose between the two:

xkcd-droid

DroidDoes xkcd would be one thing… but xkcdDoes Droid, too? Awesome!

UPDATE: As noted in the comments, “"if you hold your mouse over the strip, up pops some commentary/caption on the strip. this one reads :
"It may be a fundamentally empty experience, but holy crap the Droid’s 265 ppi screen is amazing." Agreed.

[Thanks Omar, Kyle, KBlack, Josh and everyone else who sent this in!]

Apple needs to open up, fully. They will die if they don’t.

    Open memo to Apple:

    The Future is Open

They won’t die. They’ll just turn into Apple vs. PC. They’ll have their niche, and I think they’ll be happy with it.

    Funniest thing…

The mouseover doesn’t work on the Android browser, at least not on my HTC Evo which only has a touchscreen.
