Sorry folks, we’re a few days behind on reporting this one. The Motus, a Motorola device set to sport a 5 megapixel AF camera, a 3.1-inch QVGA display, and HSPA, is expected to launch in early 2010.

It is very similar in stats to the recently launched Motorola Cliq, but it is not clear at the moment if the Motus will be running vanilla Android or MotoBlur, Motorola’s own Android variation.

What makes the Motus’s FCC approval big news is the fact that it was predicted in an earlier leak, which now seems to be a little more credible. If the leak was indeed correct, it indicates that the Motorola Sholes Tablet could be passing the FCC in the coming months, and maybe even in the next few weeks!

Seriously now that it’s more than just Rob can someone please update your list of phones. It gets hard to remember who might be making or has which phone now that Android is exploding all over the place.
