I have a portable DVD player which doesn't get much better than 4 hours. That has movie parts (the drive itself of course) but it also has a smaller screen. I admit that I would prefer to have a longer battery life... but for the size of the screen that isn't so bad. It's enough for two feature length movies which is good for long flights.
