HSDPA or not GSM so GSM still = rogers in Canada. But since they’ve got versions of this phone in CDMA and GMS, it could go to either Bell or Rogers. in a perfect world to both but we know that won’t happen.

@Rod Really? Because I’m so sick of Rogers getting all the phones in Canada (iPhone and the country’s only two Android phone, HTC Dream and Magic, AAAAARRRRRRGGGHHHH!)

I wonder if that means we should get ready for more Android phones in the norht…

Anyone know what the turnaround usually is from FCC filing to actual product? I am eligible for an upgrade but I am eying the Verizon Droid.

As a canadian, all I can say is SWEET! That is the best news about the droid that came since a while (and we all know a lot of good news about the droid came recently). I had hopes since the european GSM article, and I’m so buying this if it comes to rogers (or if this version comes out unlocked of course).

Come on guys, both Telus and Bell are launching an HSDPA network the first week of November. It’s not as simple as GSM=Rogers in Canada anymore.
