Motorola Droid Unboxed… Kinda Sorta Not Really
| by Rob Jackson on October 21st, 2009 |
Verizon sent the folks at the CrunchFam a big old box clearly with something Motorola Droid related inside. Watch Greg Kumparak unbox this bad mamma jamma:

R2.
Freaking.
D2.
Pretty awesomely hilarious yet depressing. We’ve noticed that Verizon and Motorola have put notice that “Droid” is a LucasFilms registered trademark and that they’re using it by license only so its pretty cool that they tied this all together. Plus R2D2 is probably the most popular bot on the planet, much less annoying than C3PO, and is more Android Robot shaped than any other popular bot I can think of.
Verizon Wireless really has this teasing thing down. I just want to know, Big Red, where are MY Droids? Pretty please?

Somebody has a sense of humor!! Guess they can’t have the blogosphere humming along thinking they don’t know we’re watching, huh? :)

Is that later you can control the R2D2 using Motorola Droid….proving that Motorola Droid can be used to control other devices.
