Android os on a computer?
this just doesn't seem like a good Idea for me.
maybe if they use a version of android that's morecomputer like.

then again it's a netbook:
it might be perfect for people who don't need the functionality of an actual computer and just need the web

with the 1.66GHz intel N280 it will fly.
the cool thing about the n280 is that it is hyper-threaded. thus, acting as a dual core.

now if you have a light weight UI running on a badass processor like that...:)

I want to know how quick it is at booting Android (from cold to a browser running). If it's more than 10 seconds then I'll wait for Google OS.

Android on netbooks?
Sucks - Android was made for phones, not for netbooks.. for low resolution devices.

Thats why Google is developing ChromeOS - which I think will be great. But netbooks should stay with Windows XP or Windows 7 or Ubuntu Netbook Remix.
