Donut Coming To Vodafone UK October 19th
| by Rob Jackson on October 9th, 2009 |
If you’ve got the G1 or MyTouch 3G on T-Mobile USA you’ve probably already got your Android 1.6 Donut update. But what about the rest of the world? If you’re a Vodafone UK customer you’re in luck because a date (for the start of the roll-out) has been officially set. On the Official Vodafone Forum you’ll see an administrator makes the claim:

The admin suggest readers “learn more” by reading an article on FoneHome that explains the updates… but of course being a Phandroid reader and all, you already know ALLLLL about what 1.6 Donut brings to the table.

You can see message on Twitter from HTC:
I know many of you want more info on a 1.6 update for the Hero. I unfortunately can’t say anything…yet. I will update when I can. Promise!

Thanks Herrm. I don’t mind waiting a bit longer if they’re updating Sense to take full advantage of Donut, just as long as it’s coming.
