Mixed emotions on this....

Good - Now Android/Motorola will have something to compete with iTunes. Will be good for non-savvy computer users.

Bad - If it *makes* you use this application. I personally hate iTunes and love that I can mount my Android and treat it like another hard drive or USB drive. I also run Linux on all of my computers and am guessing that Nero isn't Linux-friendly.

@*d.* & Crypto,
I was thinking the same thing. One of my only requirements for a media player is that it have drag and drop/ external harddrive functionality. Any software that has to be used to get music and stuff on your phone is an instant 'no' for me.

As far as importing playlists, i think if you save them as a standard playlist file, you can simply drag and drop it on your sd card just like anything else. no? (sorry, i don't really use playlists. but that just seems like the logic to me)

I have always hated iTunes and have avoided iPods. I use the Windows MediaPlayer Sync function to sync all my music to the SD card on my phone and it works great. Seems like a perfectly fine solution to me.

@*d.*

I do that too, using the micro SD card on a fast card-reader is very fast too.

But how can you import playlists that way?

You know what I like as an "awesome syncing experience?"

Drag & drop to a removable drive on my phone...especially after coping with iTunes.

Does this thing from NERO need to exist?

It's an iTunes competitor!

With Media Link it can easily sync music and import playlists from iTunes or Win Media Player, and make ringtones from your music with a single click, also transfer photos and do basic photo editing.

If it's all in the "cloud" why do I need to sync anything? I should be able to get there from any device....right?
