Samsung Galaxy Lite Passes FCC!
| by Rob Jackson on August 24th, 2009 |
First the Samsung Galaxy Lite got its Wi-Fi certification and now another governmental hurdle has been leaped for all to see: the Galaxy Lite has passed the FCC!

Here is a sketch showing the back of the phone, pretty uninteresting I know but its all we got!

So what do we know about the Samsung Galaxy Lite? That it has Wi-Fi, passed the FCC and will probably be a lower spec’d version of the original Samsung Galaxy. Its got GSM support so look for this on either AT&T or T-Mobile and if you want to be notified when it goes on sale make sure you visit our Samsung Galaxy Lite Guide and sign up for the newsletter!

Why do we get the lower spec’d version >_>? I hope your wrong about what the “Lite” stands for. If not, I blame the FCC.

stormrider81,
Blame the carrier. They want to put their own face on a product they have no business carrying, then they want to call it their own.
Morons, the lot of them.

I am hoping this comes to AT&T and it just lowers the memory of the device.
