Whoever Makes The First Android Netbook – Don’t Do This

12

Dear whoever makes the first Android Netbook,

Please, please, please… whatever you do, do NOT take any notes from the recent MSI Laptop promo/viral video that I recently found on Gizmodo:

I’m not sure what world they thought they lived in where it would be okay to market a product by showing men in spandex throwing large rectangular objects into eachother’s asses. I assume this was made by MSI as it points to MSI-xseries.com (should they rename it XXX-series?). That is the “slim” line of netbooks and I suppose they are promoting the laptop as thin enough to fit in somebodies’ crack? I mean… I’m not sure how that calculates to anything besides an integer divided by zero.

I realize this is random, disturbing, hilarious and pretty un-newsworthy… I just hope that whoever launches the first Android Netbook stays as far from this promotional technique as humanly possible. Okay? OKAY? Ok.

PS: The YouTube user who made this was Acrobuttocks and this is currently their 1 and only video. I pray to God it is also their last video.

  1. wow……..

  2. that. is. hilarious. that white boy signed the declaration of gay-dependence with this little bit, hahaha. not that there’s anything wrong with that.

  3. I think this is hilarious! It would be great if more companies allowed making fun of their products officially like this.

The difference is that with the Android laptop, it’ll be so cheap and so durable, that you could seriously well jungle with it and throw it around in viral videos. The only difference being that it wouldn’t be fake with the Android based ARM laptops.

There is no way you can throw an $600+ Intel based CULV or Atom based overpriced netbook without it breaking into pieces.

  4. this is the most gayest shit i ever saw, wow! Not funny at all…

  5. ROFLLMAO!!!!… this was hilarious… and disturbing… but still hilarious! :D…

its made by kogan in Australia, from what i can tell it runs a modified version of android, or i could be completely wrong and its a modified version of Linux.

  10. @Unknown: It clearly says it runs gOS – a Linux distro famous for using the e17 (Enlightenment) dekstop IIRC.

  11. @Unknown: that netbook runs gOS, see the specification tab.

This video is awful, as Rob noted.

  12. this is DISTURBING but at the same time hilarious.
(although the one catching the laptop seemed to be enjoying it)
