The AppPack that is mentioned (clip 3/4 at 0:38) has some interesting ramifications. Mr. Broadman describes it as highlighting “unique T-Mobile and third-party partner applications.”

One of the pics of the AppPack from the T-Mobile site for the myTouch shows a “Facebook” app by a developer named “Facebook.” If true, that could be a huge plus to many Android users, a blow to a few Android developers, and a complete shock to those familiar with the Facebook / Google war of words.

The AppPack, according to the same clip at 0:55, will be available in the Market in the “next several weeks.”

Stinks that they have no plans to bring Hero to the US, but who could blame them for dodging that question during a launch for a different device?

Did he say “multi-touch” in 4/4 at 8:17?! Is that true? Did we know that already? (I sometimes live under a rock called “G1.”)

The device might be “meh” to current G1 users, but I think many of the “100% you” features will translate to other T-Mo Android devices, old and new.

PS – That glass of water made me thirsty.

The review from the in store T-Mobile beta tester today on the MyTouch 3G was it was the same as the G1 but sleeker.
And his advice was that if I did a lot of emailing or texting that I would definitely be happier with the G1,
which I already own.

The G3 wont even play flash videos like the HTC Hero will.
Its a lame phone and is going to bomb compared to the G1.
I wont be getting one, the lack of flash and a hard keyboard are huge minuses .

That sucks. I know how you feel I have uploaded a video sometime ago just to discover that my net connection goes boom right about before the upload was finished.

“Dear Verizon – Laying my video camera flat on the table didn’t work so I placed my LG Voyager under the front of the camera to angle it up. This is the only time I’ve used my Voyager in the past couple months. Please stop making video camera angle fixers and make some good phones… Thanks.”

But this made me chuckle for a while, thanks :)

@Shay – I accidentally had an audio file playing over the entire video. I have to redo them all. Such a pain… it took me like 4 hours to get them all up. :(

The video doesn’t work. It says it’s private and then takes you to youtube to login, saying that you must accept the author’s friend request and once I logged in it told me it’s private again and can’t access it.
