How does this phone feel speedwise? I mean on my G1 I have often a noticeable stuttering and lag when scrolling the app menu or when I press home and the browser has something opened.

hmmm…. the software of the HTC Hero that I really love… is the HTC Sense(aka HTC Rosie)… I would really like that on my G1… but it wont happen(unless you root of course(or if Google chooses to add an HTC application to their “with Google” device. If they do choose to add it… it will most probably look/act/work different(also… with that small possibility… the G1 would get the home replacement through “Donut” or “Eclair”… or by the time we get flash on them))). Google is a marvelous company… with their power… they can be a freakin’ government… who the hell knows what google will come up with next… only time will tell… :)

I don’t know what to do now…. I was set on the i7500 because the hardware is awesome. I really like the idea of the AMOLED screen too…. but the software on the HTC Hero seems so FREAKING awesome that i don’t know what to do.

Sometimes life is pretty hard :)

I think the point is that we need Android to be as good as the HTC sense interface. Goodness like this needs to come as standard and we still need all the google apps and syncing.
