		<description>OK, so if Android is Open Source, can&#039;t I write my own &quot;input method&quot; and put up a standard phone keypad, use the T9 system and send my SMS messages that way?

As long as I can &#039;reset to defaults&#039;, I&#039;m good, right?

I don&#039;t want to lose my T9 texting skills.
